This is the first of three simple ideas. These are not Goofy Ideas because they are universal ideas, not just Disney ideas. Number one is: Read.
You can save time, money, and headaches by reading. Take time to read the signs around you. Take time to read the books and brochures that are created to help you. I love to read and even I forget to notice important signs or take the time to read maps carefully.
During my trip to Walt Disney World we stayed at Disney’s Port Orleans – French Quarter. There were two bus stops by the Mint Building. The first couple of days we caught buses at Bus Stop B. The third day we were going to the Magic Kingdom. We sat down in Bus Stop B like always. It wasn’t until we missed the bus to the Magic Kingdom that we realized that we should have been sitting at Bus Stop A. There were very large signs at each Bus Stop letting Guests know which bus stopped where. All we had to do was read.
I’m glad you read this blog. I hope you read other informative things, too. Reading is happiness squared.
Goofy Tip: The buses do a good job carrying Guests to the parks, but sometimes you have to wait. Consider that when you plan your day. Getting upset at the buses only affects you. The buses aren’t going to change. So plan extra time, use the waiting time to review your guidebook or map, and your bus will be there before you know it. And don’t forget to read the signs.
