In the real world we rarely break into a boogie woogie hip wiggle in the middle of our day. People would look at us like we were crazy and acute embarrassment would take over. Well, I am here to say that a Disney Park is not the real world. There you can bounce and dance to your heart’s content. And the best part is there are lots of opportunities.
Many of the parks now have block parties, which are kind of like parades, but the floats stop and everyone comes out and dances with the spectators. Join in. Sing along. Boogie Woogie. Shake your body. And when Mike from Monsters, Inc. invites to join the other characters, don’t hesitate. Jump on in and move with abandon. Guaranteed happiness squared.
Other dancing opportunities appear while listening to the variety of bands at the parks. Tap your foot, bounce in time, sway side to side. Disney is not a static place. It is interactive and the performers want to see you grooving to the music. So remember – Disney is not the real world. So leave the real world behind and get up and dance.
Goofy Tip: Be the person other people want to watch when they are people watching. Your happiness is contagious; everyone around you will catch as they watch you having fun.
