In the olden days of visiting Disneyland if you were at the Jungle Cruise and you wanted to know the length of the line at Space Mountain you had to walk across the park to find out. Nowadays there are apps, twitter feeds, and websites that will tell you what you need to know. But what if you don’t have the internet on your phone? There are no WiFi hotspots in the parks so it would seem that you are out of luck. But not now.
Disney has developed a clever character who you can call at 714-520-7090 to get a variety information about Disneyland while you at Disneyland. Otto will help you have the smoothest Disney vacation possible.
For basic questions, like the times for Fantasmic or the length of a line, Otto provides the answers. If you need more assistance you can also talk to a Cast Member who will help you with dining reservations or ticket requests. For more information about this new service check out the post on the Disney Parks Blog.
I will be trying out this service when I visit Disneyland this September. Perhaps you “Otto”, too. Happiness squared.
Goofy Tip: Another way to get up-to-date information while at Disneyland is to visit City Hall or the Central Plaza Information Board on Main Street, U.S.A. If you are at Disney’s California Adventure you can get information at the Guest Relations Lobby or the Information Station on Buena Vista Street.
