In less than two weeks we will vote for the President of the United States and lots of other political people. It seems like you can’t escape political talk even if you try. Gosh, I am even talking about it on a Disney blog.
Unlike others, I am not going to tell you who to vote for. Vote for who you want…but vote. We all have a stake in this fantastic country so step up and tell everyone what you think.
I think that there is a lot negative talk in the campaign. It’s probably necessary, (you wouldn’t want to say you love your opponent) but sometimes all this political talk makes it sound like the future is bleak. I know it isn’t and so did Walt Disney. He believed in a bright future and I think we should, too.
“To the youngsters of today, I say believe in the future, the world is getting better; there is still plenty of opportunity.” – Walt Disney
He was speaking to youngsters, but I think he meant it for everyone. We may have to create our own opportunity, but it is as plentiful as smiles at the Disney parks. Happiness squared.
Goofy Quote: Take from this what you will.
“I get red, white, and blue at times.” – Walt Disney
