Minnie, and Mickey, and Santa, oh my!

This is a busy time of year for Santa, but the jolly old elf has made time to visit all the good little girls and boys at Disneyland. How magical would it be to visit the happiest place on Earth and see Mickey Mouse and Santa Claus? I would just burst with joy. Well, now until December 24, you can see Santa and Mrs. Claus at the Jingle Jangle Jamboree at Big Thunder Ranch in Frontierland at Disneyland.

Visiting Santa at Disneyland isn’t like seeing him at the mall. Along with a chance to tell Santa what you want for Christmas you can play fun reindeer games, enjoy treats baked by Mrs. Claus, and make cards and other crafts to take home.  You might even get to see some of your favorite Disney characters, dressed in their finest winter outfits.

It wouldn’t be Disneyland or Christmas without music and the Jingle Jangle Jamboree has lots. Laugh along with the “Holiday Round-up” stage show featuring Mrs. Claus and her friends. Join in with Billy Hill and the Holiday Hillbillies and they perform everyone’s favorite holiday songs. All this festive music is sure to get you into the holiday spirit.

If you’re visiting Disneyland to go on every ride then I would plan to visit in January. There is so much to do at the park during the Christmas season that you’ll have the best time if you slow down and enjoy the seasonal events. Be sure to leave plenty of time to enjoy the Jingle Jangle Jamboree. Happiness squared.

Goofy Tip: When you visit the Disney parks during the Christmas season dress appropriately. I don’t mean wear a jacket, although the nights can get chilly. I mean wear a Santa hat. If you don’t have one you can always buy one at the park. There are many styles to choose from. My favorite one has Goofy ears attached to it.
