A Simple Idea – Ask

This is the second of three simple ideas. These are not Goofy Ideas because they are universal ideas, not just Disney ideas. Number one was: Read. Number two is: Ask.

I admit that I am awful at asking questions. I prefer to figure it out myself. But I can tell you that the easiest way to reduce stress and save time is to ask questions. This is still an idea I struggle with, but time and time again I have learned that asking a question as soon as you are confused is the best policy.

We're glad we got to the party.

I was sure I knew where the Tomorrowland Terrace Fireworks Dessert Party was being held. My name wasn’t on the list the cast member had, but he let us into the area. There were tables and a great view of the castle, but as time passed no desserts appeared. I should have asked a cast member about that, but I figured they would arrive in time. When I finally did ask about the desserts it turned out that I was in the wrong area. My friends and I hurried over to the right area and found the Dessert Party. My name was on the list and we quickly chose some excellent desserts and relaxed at our table. Imagine how much more time we would have had if I had just asked the moment I was confused.

So I am asking now, (or maybe this is begging) don’t hesitate to ask whenever you need clarification. Asking is happiness squared.
